God,please..
Lord,God,take this jaded heart and make it soft again.Take this walled up heart and open it up to love others again.
Help me remember life is not what passes me by all day long,but what I have with you and with my loved ones.
Soften my heart,open my eyes,renew all that I am.
As I scuttle about in the rat-race that is,help me remember there's more to life than this.
As I rush to and fro,help me remember it's all about you.
As I get overwhelmed,help me remember you've got it all under control.
As I try to make it all work,help me remember it isn't my job to do so,but yours.
As I get angry with everyday people,help me know it'll all be ok.
As I get frustrated and want to give up,help me remember your joy is my strength!!
As I'm empowered by that strength,help me share it with others so they will know it comes from you!!
